Warmaster-peliviikonloppu Bunkkerilla

Kuopiossa palataan Warmasterin pariin kesäkuun ensimmäisenä viikonloppuna eli la 4.6. - su 5.6. Pelinä toimii Warmaster Revolution ja kullakin pelaajalla on 2000 pisteen armeija. Viikonlopun tavoitteena on pitää hauskaa hyvällä porukalla ja ylläpitää Warmaster-pelin sceneä ja kiinnostusta sekä nähdä mahtavan hienoja armeijoita. 

Käytännön asioita:
Pelit pelataan yhdistyksen pelitilassa Bunkkeri 34:llä Kuopion keskustassa. Tilat sijaitsevat kivenheiton päässä sekä torista että rautatieasemasta. Suositeltavaa on saapua paikalle jo perjantaina 3.6. ja silloinkin Bunkkerilla voi illalla käydä turisemassa ja ottamassa haastepelejä tms. Varsinainen peliviikonloppu alkaa kuitenkin lauantaina klo 10. Keskustan tuntumasta löytyy lukuisia majoituslaitoksia ja allekirjoittanut voi tarvittaessa kuluitta majoittaa muutaman henkilön kotiinsa kävelymatkan päähän Bunkkerista, mikäli tarvitaan budjettiratkaisu.

Peliformaattina toimii lähtökohtaisesti 1vs1, ellei pelipaikalla muuta päätetä, tai osallistujamäärä lähde käsistä. Bunkkerilla on 6 kpl 4'x6' pelipöytiä, eli 1vs1 formaatissa maksimipelaajamäärä on 12. Mikäli pelaajia ilmoittautuu tätä enemmän, ainakin osa peleistä pelataan 2vs2 formaatilla, jolloin maksimiosallistujamäärä on 24 henkilöä.

Pelejä pyritään pelaamaan lauantaina kolme kierrosta ja sunnuntaina kaksi kierrosta, eli yhteensä viisi kierrosta. Skenaarioina käytetään sääntökirjasta löytyviä skenaarioita tai niiden variaatioita. Mahdollisuus on myös muutamaan yllätysskenaarioon.

Tapahtuma itsessään on veloitukseton. Bunkkeri 34 kuitenkin ylläpidetään jäsenistön maksamilla tilamaksuilla, jonka vuoksi tapahtumaan osallistuminen edellyttää Bunkkerin kertamaksun maksamista niiltä henkilöiltä, jotka eivät maksa yhdistyksen normaalia tilamaksua. Kertamaksu on 10€/hlö. Maksun voi maksaa paikan päällä pankki/luottokortilla tai lähimaksulla yhdistyksen Zettle-maksupäätteelle. Tapahtumassa ei jaeta palkintoja.

Koska KuoFi ry:llä on vain rajattu määrä 10 mm fantasiaskaalaan sopivaa maastoa, pyydetään osallistujia tuomaan mahdollisuuksiensa mukaan kaikki liikenevä peliin sopiva maasto mukanaan.

Ilmoittautuminen tapahtuu lähettämällä sähköpostilla osoitteeseen info@kuofi.net oma nimi, ainakin alustava tieto pelattavasta armeijasta, tieto pystyykö tuomaan peliin maastoa mukanaan, ja minkä verran, sekä tieto mikäli haluaa majoituksen.

In English:

Warmaster will make a comeback in Kuopio on the first weekend of June, ie Saturday 4th to Sunday 5th of June 2022. The game played is Warmaster Revolution and each player has an army of 2000 points. The goal of the weekend is to have fun with the great community and maintain the scene and interest of the Warmaster game, as well as see awesome great armies. The event is organized by the KuoFi ry association.

Practical things:
The games will be played at the association's gameclub Bunkkeri 34, which is located in the center of the city of Kuopio, Finland. The facilities are a couple of hundred meters from both the marketplace and the train station. It is recommended to arrive as early as Friday 3rd of June and you can come to Bunkkeri 34 in the evening and take on challenge games and meet the people, etc. However, the actual game weekend starts on Saturday at 10 a.m. If you arrive to Kuopio by plane, a pick-up will be arranged to get you from the airport to the city center. The same naturally goes for if you arrive by train. The city center has a variety of Hotels where you can accomodate. Alternatively, the organizer can accomodate a couple of guests a walking distance away from the event venue, if the budget is tight. The venue has a lavatory and a fridge.

The game format is basically 1vs1, unless otherwise decided at the venue, or if the number of participants rises high. The Bunkkeri 34 has six 4'x6 'tables, and thus the maximum number of players in the 1vs1 format is 12. If more players register, at least some of the games will be played in the 2vs2 format, in which case the maximum number of participants is 24.

The aim is to play three rounds on Saturday and two rounds on Sunday, for a total of five rounds. The scenarios used are those found in the rulebook and/or their variations. There is also the possibility of a few surprise scenarios.

The event itself is free. However, Bunkkeri 34 is maintained with space fees paid by the club members, which is why participation in the event requires the payment of a one-time Bunkkeri 34 fee to those who do not pay the association's normal space fee. The one-time fee is 10 € / person. Payment can be made on site by bank / credit card or by contactless payment to the association's Zettle payment terminal. No prizes will be awarded at the event.

As the KuoFi ry association has only a limited number of terrain suitable for a 10 mm fantasy scale, participants are asked to bring all the terrain suitable for the game, if possible.

Registration is done by sending an e-mail to info@kuofi.net with the following information:
- your name,
- at least preliminary information about the army to be played,
- whether and to what extent you can bring terrain for the game, and
- information if you want accommodation or need transportation from airport or train station.
